![]() GREEN : level 83+ areas will have level 85+ Champions and level 86+ Unique monsters, able to drop all items except the last Treasure Class, TC 87. Second, the value 1024 is 100 chance of unique. This means that Champion and Unique monsters in those areas will be able to drop all Unique and Set items with no exceptions (TC 87). Every item has a qlvl (quality level) for the base item. ![]() Ie, TC 3 contains all items with a qlvl of 1-3, TC 6 contains all items with a qlvl of 4-6 etc. Each TC contains all items with a qlvl < the TC. Level 85 areas are slightly better as Champions will also drop from TC 87.Ĭhampion monsters in those areas will be level 87, and Unique monsters will be level 88. Base item quality levels (qlvl) and Treasure Class (TC) basics 1. The base item qlvls are used by the game to classify which TC (Treasure Class) it belongs to. All Assassin Claws: 2/3 All other Class-Specific items: 1/3 All wands/scepters/staves: 1/3 Remember that Orbs are Sorc class-specific, so they are 1/3, same as other spell-caster weapons. All normal weapons and armor: 1/1 (or 3/3, if you prefer). But it does not hold all treasure classes, there are many more. It hold TONS of treasure classes, at least compared to before. It is used even for the non expansion game, don’t be fooled by the name. There is a new treasure class file called TreassureClassEx.txt. Unique monsters in those areas can drop from the highest Treasure Class (TC 87). Class specific and some other item types have lower odds of dropping. The reason I look at this file at all is due to the 'Treasure Class' column.
